It seems like the last few days have been filled with nothing but terrible financial and economic news.  And honestly, I don’t understand all of it.  I’ve read the articles, but I just don’t have a real grasp of the details of how this happened and why, and I don’t even really think that the [...]

My menu this week is a bit boring…my husband is out of town for training, and so I’m not doing anything terribly fancy. Then too, we’re leaving for vacation on Saturday, and my mission this week is to eat up all the food in my fridge. So, the side dishes aren’t planned quite [...]

I spent:
$53 at Weis
$8 on milk from the farm
for a total of $61. Yay!

I’m going to post the whole week’s menu, even though two days are already gone.
Saturday

Grilled [...]

First off, the grocery spending. My goal is to spend no more than $80-$100 each week, with my ultimate goal being to keep it as close to $80 as possible. This week, I spent:
$8 on milk from the farm
$7 at the local farmer’s market
$69 at Weis
$15.22 at Giant(I stocked up on boneless skinless [...]

Since chatting about my faults on the internet seems to be a very effective way of helping me change, I’m going to talk about something else I’m not very good at. That something else is keeping track of my grocery spending. I know exactly how much I spend at my main grocery store, [...]
